Sunday Services
Due to rennovations on the main temple, there will not be any Sunday Services during the month of August. Services will resume on September 4, 2011.

The temple sometimes has guest speakers
such as Reverend Kurt Rye (pictured).
Sunday services begin at 10 AM after the ringing of the temple bell. When Dharma School is in session, the students sit in the front of the hondo (main temple) with the adults seated in the remaining rows.
A typical service usually begins with sutra chanting, followed a Buddhist reading and o-shoko (incense burning and offering). The Sangha then stands to sing a gatha and recite a doctrine such as the Threefold Refuge (Three Treasures) or the Golden Chain. This is followed by a sermon or presentation and then the Sangha once again stands to sing a closing gatha.

Affiliated organziations often help with Sunday Services like (pictured) YBA members giving out corsages before the service on Mothers Day.
